Viscom Photo - Create photo collages
Pictures can be presented easier and they can look better if you add them in a collage. With Viscom Photo, creating high quality photo collages does not involve anything more than a few clicks. The application was created with ease of use in mind, so it should take only a minute to create a collage, even for beginners. Also, Viscom Photo is capable of batch converting images and it allows you to apply various frames and effects.
The application is completely free and it can be installed in just a few seconds. It is compatible with all Window platforms, from the old and dusty Windows 95 to the new and shiny Windows 8. Due to its modest hardware requirements, Viscom Photo can be used on any computer, even obsolete ones.
Creating a photo collage and converting images can be done on the same user interface, but on separate tabs. You can explore your local folders and browse through their contained pictures on the left side of the window. When you locate the pictures you want, you only need to click and drag them to the central area of the interface. Once inserted, pictures can be resized, rotated and moved anywhere in the preview area. Additionally, you can apply one of many backgrounds, which can be selected on the right side of the interface.
Conversion operations can be prepared in a similar fashion. After clicking and dragging your pictures to the preview area, you can make a series of adjustments, on the right side of the window. The software allows you to add frames, resize the loaded pictures, apply auto-contrast, sharpen and blur filters and overlay text or other images. All photos can be converted right away to JPG, BMP, PNG and other formats. Alternatively, you may convert them one by one, if you want to apply different settings to each picture.
Pros:
The application is straightforward and easy to understand. Creating a picture collage or batch converting takes only a few clicks. Also, Viscom Photo places various backgrounds and frames at your disposal.
Cons:
You can't insert a selection of pictures into the preview area.
